About Me

## About Me I’m a mainframe developer with a system programming experience and modern DevOps practices. ### What I Do My development work focuses primarily on HLASM and Java—combining the power of mainframe assembler with modern application development. ### Why This Blog This space serves two purposes. First, it’s a resource for mainframe beginners — a place where I share practical insights, troubleshooting tips, and lessons learned from working with z/OS. I believe mainframe community benefits when we share knowledge, and I want to contribute to lowering the barrier for newcomers. Second, it’s a window into my projects and interests outside of work. ### Beyond the Mainframe When I’m not working, you’ll find me: - Building and Making – I’m an enthusiast of DIY projects and 3D printing. I recently built a Ratrig VCore 4, and I’ll be posting further printer upgrades and modifications. Tinkering with Electronics – IoT devices, smart home automation, and electronics projects keep me busy. Working on Cars – My current project is a E36 drift build with an M52 swap. I believe it's one of the best platforms to start your own project car because of power/weight/steering and of course cost :) Programming – Because solving problems with code never gets old, whether it’s for work, home automation, or just exploring new technologies. ### What to Expect You’ll find technical articles about z/OS, CI/CD best practices, and mainframe development alongside project logs from my workshop and garage. Some posts will help you troubleshoot z/OS errors; other posts may help you with a 3D printer or IoT devices. If you’re here to learn about mainframes, welcome. If you’re here because you share any of my other interests, even better. Feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to discuss systems, builds, or that tricky problem you’re working through.
